Rehearsal Schedule OverviewRehearsals are set to begin the week of January 19th, with the first read-through scheduled for either January 19th or 20th. The rehearsal schedule will consist of 4-5 sessions per week, depending on the size of each actor’s role. Weeknight rehearsals will typically run from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM (Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday), with occasional Saturday morning or afternoon sessions for group scenes and run-throughs.
Production meetings will also be held on Saturday or Sunday afternoons. To accommodate conflicts, a detailed rehearsal schedule will not be finalized until the cast is set. Actors must submit a complete and accurate list of conflicts on their audition forms. Please note that, except for emergencies, conflicts submitted after the cast list is published will not be excused. Missing more than three rehearsals without illness, emergency, or prior approval, may result in recasting.
What to Expect in Auditions
Actors should prepare to answer questions about:
Piano-playing ability (not required for casting)
Willingness to cut hair (not required for casting)
Pronouns
Comfort with physical touch, embracing/kissing, and fight choreography (required for casting)
Auditioners are strongly encouraged to review the full script. There are also 12 audition sides and a character description sheet, detailing age ranges, physical appearance notes, and specific sides for each character.

While Little Women is a classic story, the script does not specify race or skin tones for its characters. This production embraces color-conscious casting to ensure inclusivity and representation.
